The Governing Board of the Kalliopi Koufa Foundation for the Promotion of International and Human Rights Law, having carefully considered and reviewed the continuing restrictions of public and private activities, as well as services, imposed by the Greek government in the light o the COVID-19 pandemic; moreover, having diligently pondered over the most recent authoritative orders and limitations promulgated by the Greek government, in early May, was finally impelled, regrettably at this late stage, to resolve upon the postponement (or deferral) of the pending Foundation’s Summer Courses 2020 on “Social Rights in International Law: From Theory to Practice” until the next Summer 2021. This means implementation of the projected programme (e.g. same value, dates, topics and, to the extent possible, list of lecturers).
The Foundation sincerely apologises for any inconvenience that this final decision might cause but counts on your understanding that the reasons for postponing the 2020 Thessaloniki Summer Course are beyond its control. In effect, the Foundation is bound to consider as top priorities dictating its decisions the health and safety of the invited lecturers and students participating in its academic activities, as well as the health and safety of its staff, collaborators and any other persons involved with it.
Please, feel free to contact us at [email protected] in order to be placed on the Summer School mailing-list and you will receive further information as soon as available. We also remain at your disponibility for any other information or queries.
We wish you to stay safe and well and hope to see you in Thessaloniki next year.
With kind regards
KKF Thessaloniki
