Charikleia Aroni graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Democritus University of Thrace, where she also continued her studies with a postgraduate degree in International Law and a Phd in International Law. The title of her Thesis was “State Sovereignty in international Law: A Changing Constant”.
Since 2013, she is a visiting lecturer at the Master’s Programme in “South Eastern Studies” of the Department of Law of the Democritus University of Thrace, where she lectures in Public International Law and International Relations. She is also a visiting lecturer at the recently launched Master’s Programme in “International and European Energy Law” of the Department of Law of the Democritus University of Thrace, teaching International Energy Law and Environmental Protection Law and Energy.
She has written chapters in collective volumes, while she is the author of a book on the judicial review of the Resolutions of the Security Council on behalf of the International Court of Justice. She is a member of the Hellenic Society of International Law & International Relations.
